People360, in cooperation with Brgy. Apolonio Samson and with the BCRD (Barangay and Community Relations Department (special project team of the Q.C. government), conducted its Disaster Risk Reduction Training (Batang Emergency Response Team) for the students of Apolonio Samson National High School. “BERT” is a special project of Mayor Herbert Bautista when he was still vice mayor of Quezon City. Its aim is to foster safety and health awareness among the youth.
The 2-day training had students gleefully doing their activities, with Mr. Alvin Ustare III of BCRD teaching first aid trainings. The participants get to receive certificates of attendance. Also present during the awarding of certificates is Brgy. Apolonio Samson’s captain, Kap. Elizabeth “Che-Che” De Jesus giving an inspiring message to the teens.
