People360’s first quarter of 2018 kicked off on a high note, starting with a series of CSR activities for the community, namely, the community church (headed by parish priest Father Buddy Ballesteros), Brgy. Apolonio Samson (headed by Kap. Che Che De Jesus), and the local school Apolonio Samson National High School (headed by Principal Mrs. Adora Teaño). One of the company’s core values and advocacies, that of effecting social change to its community, is realized and will continue to do so. Aside from extending help thru donations to the church and the school, the company deemed it fit to raise environmental, safety and health awareness in the community. A contribution and installation of fire extinguishers was done for the community church, and a Fire Safety awareness training is also well on its way.
For the barangay, through the cooperation with BCRD (Barangay and Community Relations Department), People360 has conducted, so far, a Community First Aid Awareness Seminar, Fire Safety Awareness Seminar, simultaneous seminar (Psychosocial Support Seminar @ Brgy Apolonio Samson Hall & Home Nursing Course Seminar at one of the community’s compounds, Aniceta Compound). Followed by Simulation Fire Drill conducted also at the Aniceta Compound.
Last but not the least, People360 conducted its free BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety & Health) Training Program for ASNHS (Apolonio Samson National High School) Senior High School students for the awareness and importance of safety in school, at home and in the workplace. It also serves to further their skills and competitiveness in the workforce. The program was given in two batches, with each batch completing the duration of 40 hours in 10 days. Next in line is another batch of FREE BOSH Training, this time to be given to 60 teachers of ASNHS.
This is just the beginning of a series of other CSR activities of the company. Truly keeping up to its ideals and values, People360 is steadfast in its drive for social and environmental change, and is committed to deliver the positive impact it brings to the communities and the environment.
