MANILA, 24 April 2012 - Sherwin B. Candelario, Senior Industrial Hygienist of People360 Consulting Corporation, successfully completed the National Training Course on Nondestructive Testing Ultrasonics - Level 2 held from April 10-23, 2012. The training was organized by the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI) in cooperation with the Philippine Society for Non-Destructive Testing, Inc. (PSNT), at the PNRI grounds in Diliman, Quezon City.
The programme of the training course was in accordance with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) syllabi comprising of 80 hours of training for Ultrasonic Testing – Level 2, as specified in IAEA TECDOC – 628, “Training Guidelines in Nondestructive Testing Techniques”.
Sherwin passed the final examinations with exceptional result, scoring well beyond the 70% passing mark. The exams consisted of 2 parts- theoretical (half day) and the practical part, another half day.
Mr. Candelario has also been accepted as an Individual Member of the PSNT, entitling him to the privileges granted by its Constitution and By-Laws.
With this development, People360 expects to enhance the capabilities of its ranks in providing the services of non-destructive testing to its clients. Other personnel of People360 are not undertaking their certifications in the various fields of this professional service.
