People360 has been adjudged by the National Selection Committee as finalist for Best Private Business Category in the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council’s (NDRRMC) 21st Gawad Kalasag: Search for Excellence in DRRM and Humanitarian Assistance 2019. Gawad KALASAG is the country’s premier annual awards for outstanding contribution in the fields of disaster risk reduction and management and humanitarian assistance. It is the principal mechanism by which the NDRRMC advances awareness of the best practices of DRRM and humanitarian response and action. Since its inception in 1998, it aims to appreciate individuals, groups or institutions which have shown extraordinary courage, heroism and sacrifice in times of emergencies, be it natural or human-induced.
The awarding ceremonies took place at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), December 6, 2019.
